SX06021 King Charles steps Brecon
Described on plaque as: Cobbled footway associated with the visit of king Charles I to Brecon in August 1645. the King stayed with Colonel Herbert Price at Priory House, now the Cathedral Resource Centre, before marching to the relief of Hereford then besieged by a Scots army.
